Evaluation and treatment of bowel obstruction due to adhesions, hernias, tumors, or strictures—ranging from conservative care to urgent surgery when needed.
What we offer
- Blockage preventing normal movement of intestinal contents
- Symptoms: severe abdominal pain, vomiting, bloating, constipation
- Diagnosis: clinical exam + X-ray/CT scan
- Initial management: IV fluids, nasogastric tube, observation (selected cases)
- Surgery required if strangulation/perforation or no improvement
- Emergency care is important to prevent complications
