Overview
Treatment of skin cysts (sebaceous/epidermoid) with complete removal to prevent recurrence, especially when infected or repeatedly inflamed.
What we offer
- A skin cyst filled with keratin/oily material
- Common on scalp, face, back, and trunk
- May become painful/red if infected
- Treatment: complete excision of cyst and capsule
- In infected cases: antibiotics ± drainage first, then excision
- Usually done under local anesthesia
